غاز الشرق تعلن بدء تطبيق المنهجية الجديدة وتحديث تعرفة توزيع الغاز

أعلنت شركة غاز الشرق عن بدء تطبيق المنهجية الجديدة لاحتساب أجور خدمة توزيع الغاز الطبيعي، وتحديث التعرفة المعتمدة، اعتبارًا من 1 يناير 2026م، وذلك استنادًا إلى القرار الوزاري الصادر عن سمو وزير الطاقة رقم (2493/470201) بتاريخ 17/07/1447هـ الموافق 06/01/2026م، وبما يتوافق مع اللوائح التنظيمية المعتمدة.
وأوضحت الشركة أن هذا الإجراء يأتي استكمالًا لخطاباتها السابقة، ونتائج ورشة العمل التي عُقدت بتاريخ 03 سبتمبر 2025م بحضور ممثلي الشركات وممثلي وزارة الطاقة، والتي تم خلالها استعراض منهجية الإيراد المطلوب، وشرح آلية احتساب أجور الخدمة، والرد على استفسارات العملاء.
وبموجب القرار الوزاري، تم اعتماد التعرفة الجديدة لأجور خدمة توزيع الغاز الطبيعي لتصبح 1.54 ريال سعودي لكل مليون وحدة حرارية بريطانية، بدلاً من 1.53 ريال سعودي، على أن تضاف للسعر المحلي، ويتم تطبيقها ضمن الفوترة الشهرية ابتداءً من التاريخ المذكور.
وأكدت شركة غاز الشرق أن تطبيق المنهجية الجديدة يستلزم تحديث بعض بنود الاتفاقيات القائمة، ودعت عملاءها إلى استكمال توقيع ملاحق الاتفاقيةالخاصة:
• ببند الأسعار والرسوم وفق التعرفة الجديدة والمنهجية المعتمدة
• وبند الكميات المخصصة من وزارة الطاقة والمعتمدة في الفوترة الشهرية
وأشارت الشركة إلى أهمية إتمام هذه الإجراءات في موعد أقصاه 26 يناير 2026م، حرصًا على استمرارية تقديم الخدمة دون أي انقطاع، مؤكدة التزامها بالتواصل المستمر مع عملائها وتقديم الدعم اللازم خلال مرحلة التطبيق.
East Gas Company Announces the Implementation of the New Methodology and the Update of the Gas Distribution Tariff

East Gas Company announced the commencement of the implementation of the new methodology for calculating natural gas distribution service charges and the update of the approved tariff, effective 1 January 2026. This is pursuant to the Ministerial Resolution issued by His Highness the Minister of Energy No. (2493/470201) dated 17/07/1447 AH, corresponding to 06/01/2026, and in accordance with the approved regulatory framework.
The Company explained that this measure comes as a continuation of its previous letters and the outcomes of the workshop held on 03 September 2025, attended by representatives of the companies and representatives of the Ministry of Energy. During the workshop, the required revenue methodology was presented, the mechanism for calculating service charges was explained, and customers’ inquiries were addressed.
Pursuant to the Ministerial Resolution, the new tariff for natural gas distribution service charges has been approved at SAR 1.54 per million British thermal units, instead of SAR 1.53, to be added to the local price and applied as part of the monthly billing cycle starting from the aforementioned date.
East Gas Company confirmed that the implementation of the new methodology requires updating certain provisions of the existing agreements. Accordingly, the Company called upon its customers to complete the signing of the relevant agreement addenda covering:
The prices and fees clause, in accordance with the new tariff and the approved methodology
The quantities allocated by the Ministry of Energy and approved for monthly billing
The Company emphasized the importance of completing these procedures no later than 26 January 2026, in order to ensure the continuity of service without interruption. It also reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining continuous communication with its customers and providing the necessary support throughout the implementation phase
